Assess the whole decarbonisation pathway
EEH’s long-term focus includes hydrogen and ammonia, with development work centred on the complete production-to-use chain.
Start with the decision you face
The need
A credible route to industrial decarbonisation with a defined energy source, customer and infrastructure requirement.
How EEH supports you
We are developing capabilities in project screening, partner and technology assessment, infrastructure coordination and financing preparation for hydrogen and ammonia opportunities.
What we need to start
Intended end use, energy and water availability, site constraints, prospective offtake, transport route and technology maturity.
Turn the opportunity into an assessable case
Renewable hydrogen and its derivatives open pathways for uses that are difficult to electrify directly. A project needs to connect qualifying production, actual demand and the full delivered cost. We assess direct electrification and other alternatives alongside the proposed hydrogen route.

Assess your market and investment case ↗Connect the work from the outset
We define the opportunity, coordinate the project workstreams and prepare financial and project documentation. Financing structuring includes access to our network of financial institutions and investors, with decisions made independently by each counterparty.

Match the scope to the operating need
Hydrogen production and integration
Assess the renewable electricity supply, electrolyser duty, water treatment, storage and industrial interface as one development case. Equipment selection follows the intended use and operating conditions.
Discuss project requirementsAmmonia as a hydrogen carrier
Hydrogen produced where renewable electricity is abundant and comparatively inexpensive can be converted into ammonia for delivery to regions with more constrained or costly renewable resources. Liquid ammonia offers denser hydrogen storage by volume than compressed hydrogen and less demanding liquefaction conditions than liquid hydrogen, supporting storage and transport.
Discuss project requirementsDelivered energy and industrial demand
Assess ammonia synthesis, transport, storage and any reconversion together: conversion losses, safety requirements and infrastructure costs can change the investment case. Direct ammonia use and recovery of hydrogen require different receiving facilities and customer specifications.
Discuss project requirementsDevelopment and partner screening
Define the feasibility studies, permitting dependencies and specialist capability needed for the proposed value chain. Prepare scenario-based financial documentation before capital discussions.
